Our Summer ‘23 collection, pictured here, is an homage to the all American West, specifically the Lone Star State. Drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of western iconography, the collection weaves together symbols and silhouettes reminiscent of classic American Midwest figuration. Featuring stars, bandanas, sun-bleached fabrics and more, each piece encapsulates the spirit of the West.
My Role:
I created logo lockups that blend these graphics and concepts by modernizing a revered and American symbol, synonymous with both racecar competitions and, in its historical roots, horse races- the iconic checkered flag. Moreover, the first photographed checkered flag in use emerged in Long Island, New York, further emphasizing the connection between the iconic imagery of the All-American West and the cityscape of Saturdays NYC.
